Theory of neutron inelastic scattering in ferroelectrics with hydrogen bonds
Creators
Description
The dynamic model of proton-ion interaction is used to develop the microscopic approach to description of thermal neutron scattering on ferroelectrics of the KH2PO4 type. In the neutron energy distribution two peaks are obtained that are caused by coupled proton-phonon excitations. The distribution function of the excitations is introduced, which reflects neutron wave interference due to proton tunneling
