Determination of uranium in environment samples by ICP-AES with solid phase extraction separation into D293 resin
- 1. Faculty of Chemistry Biology and Materials Science, East China Institute of Technology, Fuzhou (China)
Description
The optimum conditions for separation and preconcentration of uranium are studied in this paper. Uranium is adsorbed by D293 resins at pH 1.5, and eluted completely using 10 mL of 0.9 mol/L NH4NO3-0.1 mol/L HNO3, then determined by ICP-AES.The detection limit, RSD and related error are of 0.05 μg/mL, 0.8% ∼ 2.9% and 0.4% ∼ 9.8%, respectively. This method is simple, quick and accurate. It can be applied to determine uranium in environment samples with satisfactory results. (authors)
