Simple circuit of a high-stability gamma-resonance spectrometer
Description
A velocity-stable constant-acceleration γ-resonance spectrometer is described. The stability is ensured by the equation for the time of passage by the electromagnetic vibrator of half the cycle and for the length of the half-period of operation of the address counter of the multichannel analyzer. The long-term velocity stability of the spectrometer, which was determined from the lines of sodium nitroprusside with positions 0.931 and 0.781 mm/s relative to a source of 57Co(Cr) is equal to 0.0036 and 0.0022 mm/s, respectively
