An application of the Taylor theory to an ideal MHD plasma with fluid velocity
Description
The Taylor Theory is applied to an ideal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) plasma with the fluid motion. The Woltjer's two invariants are used. The field quantities are derived and the energy of the system is analysed. It will be found that the sum of the material pressure and the kinetic pressure becomes homogeneously distributed. Some consideration on the β-value is described. (author)
