The TESLA physics program
Description
Since 1992 an international collaboration centered around the DESY laboratory in Hamburg has worked on a linear collider concept based on low frequency super conducting RF-cavities, the TESLA collider. The work of this collaboration resulted in a project proposal for a linear accelerator facility at DESY with a center of mass energy between 90 and 800 GeV. The TESLA collider will also be a source of high brilliance, coherent X-rays with tunable wavelength in the Angstrom region. Attention is paid to the TESLA accelerator and particle physics at TESLA (studies of the Higgs mechanism, supersymmetry). (P.A.)
