Description
A discussion of the scientific interest and experimental feasibility for measurements of the conversion of a muon into an electron in a muonic atom and of the spontaneous conversion of muonium into antimuonium is presented. The importance of high-intensity, pulsed LAMPF II beams for these measurements is emphasized. 34 references
