Tc99m glucoheptonate in detection of lung tumors

Description
The authors intended, with this study, the use and the efficacy of pulmonary scintigraphy with GHA Tc99 as auxiliary method in the diagnosis of lung tumors. Fifty-five patients were studied clinically and radiologically and afterwards with GHA Tc99 pulmonary scintigraphy. The data were confronted with pathologic findings. In thirty-nine of this patients the isotope were captivate in the place of the tumour. (author)

os autores pretenderam avaliar com o presente estudo o emprego e a eficacia da cintilografia pulmonar com GHA Tc99 como metodo auxiliar no diagnostico dos tumores de pulmao. Foram estudados 55 pacientes, avaliados clinica e radiologicamente e posteriormente com cintilografia pulmonar com GHA. Os dados foram comparados com os achados histopatologicos. Em 39 pacientes houve captacao do isotopo na topografia do tumor. (autor)Additional details
