Electron gas in discharge plasma in air
Description
The determination of transport coefficients and binary collision rates of electrons with neutrals in the air and its components is described. The calcUlations are implemented by applying the Boltzmann equation to the electron gas in the discharge in those gases. Emphasis is put on the study of electron gas parameters in the air. The results are compared with available experimental data and conclusions are drawn concerning the accuracy of the presented data following from the use of ''two-terms'' approximation of the solution of the Boltzmann equation.
