Description
This paper reports on the radiology of the gallbladder. The oldest radiologic imaging technique for detection of gallbladder disease is the plain radiograph of the abdomen. This simple and inexpensive examination is sometimes neglected in today's era of high-technology imaging. The plain film examination requires no special preparation of the patient, and the results are known immediately. It permits the diagnosis of several acute and chronic gallbladder diseases
