Description

Reactor tripped on high pressure due to a loss of feedwater, initiated by a fault on a Non-Nuclear Instrumentation Power supply. Considerable control room indication was lost. Safety Features actuated on low pressure following the reactor trip. When power was restored an hour and a quarter later, temperature had dropped to 2850F. The Reactor Coolant System was outside of its allowable pressure/temperature curve
