Transition state influence of fissile 233Th nucleus on fragment kinetic energy
- 1. Gosudarstvennyj Komitet po Ispol'zovaniyu Atomnoj Ehnergii SSSR, Obninsk. Fiziko-Ehnergeticheskij Inst.
Description
Dependence of the fragment average kinetic energy on the energy of neutrons, inducing fission of 232Th nuclei, is investigated in the energy range from 1.2 to 2.3 MeV. Variations of the fragmet kinetic energy occur at the same neutron energies, at which the fragment angular anisotropy variates. This coincidence is considered as displaying a relation between the variations of the fragment kinetic energy and the quantum numbers of transition states of the fissile nucleus
