Preparation of samples with very high enrichment in 13C by multiphoton dissociation of 12CF3I with a CO2 TEA laser
Description
The multiphoton dissociation of CF3I by selective irradiation of 12CF3I with a CO2 TEA laser has permitted to obtain isotopic concentration in 13C greater than 90% as well by static method (closed cell) as by dynamic method (continuous flow). After C2F6 purification a sample with 90% in 13CF3I has been irradiated again in closed cell to obtain an isotopic concentration of 99,93% in 13CF3I, 40% of the initial 13CF3I being preserved. This gives an enrichment of 130000 in two steps

La dissociation multiphotonique de CF3I par irradiation selective de 12CF3I avec un laser CO2 TEA a permis d'obtenir une concentration isotopique en 13C superieure a 90% aussi bien par une methode statique (cellule fermee) que par une methode dynamique (ecoulement continu). Apres purification de C2F6, un echantillon contenant 90% de 13CF3I a ete irradie a nouveau en cellule fermee pour obtenir une concentration de 99,93% en 13CF3I, 40% du 13CF3I initial etant conserve.
