Forced high-frequency vibrations of thin circular piezoceramic disks

Description

Thin circular piezoceramic plates polarized through their thickness are widely used in equipment designed to transmit and detect ultrasound, radio-frequency, resonators, and piezoelectric transducers [1-3, 5-7]. In many cases,the equipment operates in the fundamental radial mode or its overtones. Fundamentals radial resonance differs from other high-frequency modes in the degree of separation realized and the efficiency of the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy and vice versa. The working frequencies of radial vibration of circular disks range from 20-30 to 200-500 kHz (depending on the composition and geometric dimensions of the piezoceramic)
