Combinant analysis of multiplicity distributions

  • 1. Physics Department, University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin 53706 (United States)

Description

Combinants are certain linear combinations of ratios of probabilities. It is argued that they can be a useful tool in analyzing multiplicity distributions of hadrons emitted in high energy collisions and large scale structure of galaxy distributions
