Description
Long-term geomechanical effects of mining work may induce the formation of flow pathways within the protective area of a mine. Models are developed simulating solution and salt transport processes as coupled processes, in order to be able to assess the long-term safety of waste repositories with respect to possible ingress of the mentioned media, or to assess the outcome of existing ingress processes. One major study target is changes induced in flow pathway properties due to the effects of brine solution. (DG)

Langzeitliche geomechanische Folgen des Bergbaues koennen Ausloeser fuer das Entstehen von Fliesswegen in der Schutzzone einer Grube sein. Zur Einschaetzung der Sicherheit von Untertagedeponien vor Zufluessen und der Prognose vorhandener Zufluesse ueber lange Zeiten wird eine gekoppelte Simulation von Loesungs- und Salztransportvorgaengen durchgefuehrt. Dabei werden insbesonders die Veraenderungen der Fliesswegeigenschaften bei Salzloesungseffekten erfasst. (DG)Additional details
