Cabbibo suppressed decays of the τ lepton

The experimental situation of the Cabbibo suppressed decays of the τ lepton is reviewed. The decay modes which are reviewed are τ-→K-ντ, τ-→K2*(1430)-ντ, τ-→K*(892)-ντ. The first observation of (K*(892)0)-bar in τ decays is also reported. The τ-→K*(892)-ντ result is discussed in context of the Das-Mathur-Okubo sum rule, and the observation of (K*(892)0)-bar is discussed in reference to the K1(1270)- and K1(1400)- resonances.
