Description

On June 9, 1985, the Davis-Besse nuclear power station experienced a temporary complete loss of both main and auxiliary feedwater. During the course of this event, a number of component and system malfunctions occurred. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dispatched an incident investigation team to Davis-Besse to review the event and the investigation and resolution of the malfunctions which occurred during the event. In September 1985, Toledo Edison Company submitted the course of action report to document the investigatory and corrective action program initiated by Toledo Edison following the June 9, 1985 event
