Die vorliegende Veroeffentlichung enthaelt den vollen Text fast saemtlicher auf der Tagung gehaltenen Vortraege inklusive Abbildungen und Zitate sowie die Zusammenfassungen der Diskussionen zu den einzelnen Themen. Die folgenden Themen waren Schwerpunkte bei diesem Kongress: Grundlagen und Anwendungen der digitalen Radiographie (13 Vortraege), Kommunikation und Archivierung digitaler Bildinformation (7 Vortraege), Evaluation und Foerderung digitaler Bildinformation (3 Vortraege), Minderung des Risikos bei Kontrastmitteluntersuchungen (6 Vortraege) sowie Work-in-progress-Vortraege von Herstellern (8 Vortraege) und Anwendern (4 Vortraege).
