Cooperative and local properties in the Kondo insulator YbB12
Description
Disrupting coherence on the Yb sublattice produces significant changes on the magnetic spectral response of the Kondo insulator YbB12, as evidenced by inelastic neutron scattering measurements on Yb1-xLuxB12 solid solutions. However, the spin gap existing in pure YbB12 is not suppressed by substitution of Lu for Yb
