γ-ray spectroscopy in future - 11ΛB spectroscopy and B(M1) measurement

  • 1. Tohoku Univ., Graduate School of Science, Sendai, Miyagi (Japan)

Description

A experimental plan in future for γ-ray spectroscopy of hyper nuclei by using hyper ball is reported. Particularly, a proposal of the experiments for 11ΛB spectroscopy and B(M1) measurement is described in detail, where B(M1) is the reduced transition probability for spin reversal transition between the doublet (3/2+, 1/2+) in hyper nuclei. Magnetic moment of Λ particles in nuclei is informed from the measurements of B(M1) by Doppler shift attenuation method. For this purpose, 11ΛB spectroscopy through (π+, K+) reaction by KEK proton synchrotron is proposed. (Y. Kazumata)
