Deuterium diffusion in Zr oxide irradiated with Zr ions
- 1. Kyoto University, Department of Nuclear Engineering, Kyoto (Japan)
Description
The diffusion behavior of deuterium in ion-irradiated oxide layer of zirconium alloys has been investigated at 300℃. Two samples were irradiated with Zr ions, and the depth profiles of deuterium were observed by a nuclear reaction analysis in situ under continuous deuterium charging. Two other samples were irradiated with Zr ions after corroded in D2O steam, and the depth profiles of residual deuterium were observed. (author)
