  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (USSR). Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

By interaction of WCl6 with anhydrous perchloric acid at -5 deg C WO(ClO4)4 has been prepared. In vacuum tungsten oxyperchlorate at 20 deg C loses Cl2O7 with formation of WO2(ClO4)2 (1), which at the temperature exceeding 90 deg C transforms into WO3 and loses the second molecule of perchloric anhydride. By means of interaction between 1 and MClO4 (M=Cs, Rb) in the medium of HClO4 cesium and rubidium dioxyperchloratotungstates of the general formula Mn(WO2(ClO4)2+n), where n=1, 2 have been prepared. By IR diffraction analysis it is ascertained that in 1 ClP4 groups are bidentate and in complex anions both bi- and monodentate perchloratogroups are present
