Stochastic current instability in CdCr2Se4
Description
About the excitation of stochastic current oscillations in CdCr2Se4 in the paramagnetic phase is reported. Temperature, volt-ampere and time characteristics of the dark current behaviour depending on the voltage applied to a sample are investigated. It is detected that self-excited oscillations of the current, which period changed with the amplification of the electric field, occur when the temperature decreases up to 250 K in electric fields Ecr(100-150 V), and the evolution of random oscillation development in a rather narrow field range from 100 to 119 V observed
