Improvement of AMS calibration equipment in radiation protection area

Description
There is a strong radioactive source in the EPR's AMS calibration equipment, but the shielding design has a defect, which will increase the irradiation dose and unplanned irradiation risk. The equipment was redesigned to decrease the dose and the risk. Besides, the effect evaluation was implemented based on MCNP software calculation. Finally, the optimization of radiation protection is realized. The design theory and the calculation method are introduced in the paper. (authors)
