The monograph is intended as a technical university textbook. It consists of the following chapters: Basic concepts of radioactivity, radiochemistry and nuclear chemistry; utilization of nuclear phenomena; detection and measurement of radioactive and stable nuclides; the isotopic tracer method; isotopic tracers and phenomena in the study of diffusion processes; isotopic exchange reactions; isotopic tracers and phenomena in the study of the kinetics and mechanism of chemical reactions and catalysis; isotopic tracers in the electrochemical research; nuclear methods in the elucidation of the structure of molecules and crystals, utilization of radiation phenomena in chemical, technical and other fields; and a survey of the use of nuclear methods in related chemical and other fields.
