Description
Due to energy and momentum conservation, a stopped π- is absorbed in the nucleus by at least two nucleons. In order to determine the relative importance of the different absorption mechanisms, the coincident emission of neutrons and charged particles was studied using π- capture in 12C. (Auth.)
