Remarks on coherent and incoherent magnetic Bremsstrahlung synchrotron radiation

This paper presents some remarks on the coherent and incoherent Bremsstrahlung radiation produced by electrons when passing through a structure where the spatial periodic forces act transversely on the direction of electron propagation. We refer to : the synchrotron radiation produced by cyclic accelerators (1946), wiggler (1951), ubitron (1960) and their electrostatic analogues (1979), to the coherent radiation produced in the crystal lattice (1956), and to the magnetic Bremsstrahlung free-electron laser (1976). We also deal with idealized fields, electron orbit in idealized fields, radiation wave lengths, spectral and angular distribution and the total power radiated for both types of coherent and incoherent radiation.
