Description
Azimuthal distributions of light charged particles with respect to the reaction plane have been studied for 50 MeV/u C + C, 50 MeV/u C + Au, 35 MeV/u Ar + Au and 35-100 MeV/u Ar + V. For near central events, two distinctive collective effects can be distinguished - rotational collective motion and flow. For the Ar + V system, a minimum is observed in the flow excitation function which allows a determination of the energy at which attractive scattering balances repulsive scattering in these collisions
