Description
An ion detector for spark cource mass spectrometry is described which utilizes a channel electron multiplier array in the chevron configuration with phosphor screen display. An optical flange positions the detector in the focal plane of an AEI-MS702R mass spectrometer. The photographic plate detection mode of the spectrometer is also available with a minimum of change-over time. Preliminary results are shown for several modes of electronic data collection. (orig.)
