Description
A 64-years-old male patient with previous diagnosis of myocardial necrosis as assessed by myocardial perfusion gated single photon emission computed tomography (gSPECT) with 3-vessel-disease, left ventricular dysfunction and symptomatic by epigastric pain. The patient was referred for myocardial viability assessment by positron emission tomography (PET) to define clinical management decision. (authors)

Se presenta el caso de un paciente de 64 anos con diagnostico previo de necrosis miocardica por SPECT (tomografia computada por emision de foton simple) en presencia de lesion de 3 vasos, disfuncion ventricular izquierda y sintomatico por dolor epigastrico a quien se le solicita un estudio de viabilidad miocardica con tomografia por emision de positrones (PET) para la toma de conducta terapeutica.
