Scalar mesons in ππ and KK-bar scattering

Description
The s-wave pion scattering amplitude is analyzed with the aim to clarify the mass spectrum of scalar mesons and to find evidence of lightest glueball. The S-matrix ππ and KK-bar coupled channel formalism is used. The existence of scalar mesons S* and ε is implied by the data. The production ππ→KK-bar and the elastic KK-bar→KK-bar coupled amplitudes are predicted from the ππ→ππ scattering data. The couplings of S* to ππ and KK-bar states are determined.
