Acoustic study of the dislocation interaction with the polarized oxygen atom atmosphere in niobium
- 1. AN Gruzinskoj SSR, Tbilisi (USSR). Inst. Fiziki
Description
Formation and decay of oxygen atomic atmosphere in niobium polarized within dislocation elastic field are investigated using low-frequency acoustics technique. It is shown that formation of this atmosphere results in reduction of both time and level of relaxation of low-temperature relaxation processes, linked with dislocation movement. An attempt to reproduce from acoustic measurements the charge pattern caused by dislocation interaction with the atmosphere of oxygen atoms polarized in its elastic field is made
