Description
Investigated is the nature of interaction between dissimilar materials: niobium-iron, niobium-Kh18N9T steel, niobium-nickel during percussive welding in vacuum. The influence of anomalous diffusion acceleration on the formation of welded joints is also studied. Utilized have been the methods of X-ray diffraction, X-ray spectrum analysis and tracer technique. It has been shown that there are no brittle intermetallide phases in the transition zone and a developed zone of substitutional solid solution is present. The results obtained prove the diffusive nature of the atom mobility anomalous increase in the case of a high-speed plastic deformation and testify to the interstitial diffusion mechanism under these conditions
