Rejoining of x-ray-induced DNA strand breaks in synchronous CHO cells
Description
Rejoining of DNA strand breaks in x-irradiated Chinese hamster ovary cells at different positions of the cell cycle was studied. X-irradiated CHO cells were able to rejoin their DNA strand breaks regardless of their position in the cell cycle at the time of irradiation. However, the rate of DNA strand break rejoining is cell cycle dependent
