The conclusion drawn from the study reported is that the current state of insight in the clinical applicability and achievements of diffusion-weighted techniques is inadequate, but it can be safely expected that diffusion weighting will become an important tool for diagnostic radiology. (orig./CB)

Zusammenfassend wird erkennbar, dass der derzeitige Stand der Erkenntnisse bezueglich der klinischen Anwendung der Diffusionswichtung noch unzureichend ist, dass sich aber jetzt bereits sagen laesst, dass die Diffusionswichtung ein wichtiges Instrument des Radiologen werden wird.
