Statistical approach to the polarographic determination of the composition of a mixture with an unknown number of constituents
Description
A statistical method was proposed for the recognition of one- and two-component contours described by non-Gaussian curves. It was shown that In(3) and Cd(2) can be identified in a polarographic solution at concentration ratios from 40:1 to 1:40. The data obtained we used in the determination of n x 10-6 % In and Cd impurities in high-purity aluminum by square-wave polarography (0.1-g sample, n* = 9, sr <= 10 %)
