Energy distribution of red dwarf stars' flares in optical range

Description

Photographic observations of bursts in Pleiades and Orion have been statistically analysed on the assumption of ergodicity of the burst activity of assembly of stars of similar luminosity. Experimental distributions of flashes with the optical radiation energy are obtained for visible and ultraviolet ranges of flaring stars (FS) in clusters and in the neighbourhood of the Sun. As a whole, it is a certain generality of energy spectra of bursts in a wide range of luminosities and ages of FS in clusters and in the neighbourhood of the Sun. The statistical dependences obtained between frequencies of bursts of different energies are of interest from many points of view. For instance, they may be used for estimation of the total effect of the FS activity upon the environment, for quantitative estimates of success probability on observing FS in clusters, for estimating the FS clusters as possible sources of hard and inequilibrium radiations
