Database of local criteria for pressure vessel overlay fractures
Description
A database of local criteria for fractures of the irradiated overlays of reactor pressure vessels was created based on tests performed at operated WWER-440 type reactors. The tensile properties were determined, and a partly physical model was employed to derive the fracture toughness values. The Rice-Tracey model was adopted for application of the ''local approach''. Creating the database thus implied finding the (R/R0)c criterion values for each stress-deformation dependence (determined for the idealized shape e. g. by the Rp0.2, Rm and Am value set) and the corresponding J0.2 value by numerical simulation of the fracture toughness test.
