Description
A scheme of digitized Reactor Protection Systems (RPS) is discussed. An advanced parallel processing method, consisting of microprocessor-based unit and GAL (General Array Logic)-based unit, has been applied to the design, which would eliminate the common-mode failure of current digitized RPS through using diverse equipment, and be expected to improve the reliability of RPS
