Description

A large single transverse spin asymmetry of forward neutron production in polarized pp collision was discovered at RHIC-IP12 experiment. The origin of its asymmetry is very interesting question. More precise forward neutron measurement in PHENIX will be first time to discuss the polarized phenomenon of neutron production. Results of the cross section and single transverse spin asymmetry of forward neutron production at √(s)=200 GeV are presented. It may prefer the one pion exchange model which is successful to explain the forward neutron cross section
