Description

The nonsuppressed anion chromatography with indirect UV-detection is demonstrated as a suitable method for the trace analysis in the secondary water system of nuclear power stations. Coated silica based reversed phase material was used as ion exchanger. This material has a high chromatograhic efficiency and selectivity. The used hardware allows the determination of chloride and sulfate with a detection limit of 0.8 ppb and a relative standard deviation of 20%. (author)
