Parameter error analysis of the ecological parameters for evaluating the radiation exposure from radioactive substances in effluents
Description
The analysis of quality and applicability of the 'Allgemeine Berechnungsgrundlagen' (models and standards for dose calculation) presented in this report covers two parts. The first is an analysis of the theoretical model and the requirements to be met by parameters, and of the quantitative significance of parameters, nuclides, and pathways with regard to the final result, the calculated dose. In the second part, the nuclides Sr-90 and Cs-137 are taken as an example to show for the case of activity ingestion via the terrestrial food chains, whether there are deviations of results obtained according to the 'Allgemeine Berechnungsgrundlagen' on the one hand from those obtained by calculations taking into account current knowledge of the radionuclide migration and behaviour in the environment. Die Analyse der Qualitaet und Anwendbarkeit der Allgemeinen Berechnungsgrundlagen in diesem Bericht gestaltet sich in zwei Teilbereiche. Zunaechst wurden das theoretische Modell untersucht, die Anforderungen an die Parameterwerte dargestellt und die quantitative Bedeutung der Parameter, Nuklide und Belastungspfade in Bezug auf das Endergebnis Dosis systematisch abgeleitet. Der zweite Teil beinhaltet fuer den Teilbereich Ingestion ueber terrestrische Nahrungsketten am Beispiel der Nuklide Sr 90 und Cs 137 einen Vergleich zwischen den Prognosen, die bei der Anwendung der Allgemeinen Berechnungsgrundlagen erzielt werden mit den vorliegenden Erfahrungen ueber das Verhalten dieser Nuklide in der Umwelt.
