The development of high temperature gas-cooled reactor in China
Description
10 MW high temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR test Reactor) is under construction in the institute of nuclear energy technology of Tsinghua university. The inherent safety characteristics, short construction period, and small size capacity unit with economic viability could meet the requirements for power plant in terms of the trend of deregulation in power system. The safety characteristics and the helium cycles for improvement of efficiency are emphatically analyzed
