Strength of compositions based on zirconium carbide with dispersed carbon inclusions
Description
Data on flexural strength, fracture toughness and high-temperature strength of a zirconium carbide-carbon composition with a carbon component in the form of synthetic diamond particles are given in dependence on the quantity (from 0.5 to 7 mass %) and size of carbon inclusions (from 0.2 to 50 μm) in a 20-1800 deg C temperature range. These strength characteristics are compared with those for compositions with kl and pgi graphite inclusions
