Toroidal consideration of plasma response to penetration of an external low frequency helical perturbation into a tokamak edge plasma

  • 1. Institute of Plasma Physics, National Science Center 'Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology', Akademicheskaya str., 1, 61108 Kharkov (Ukraine)

Description

For an adequate comparison with TEXTOR-dynamic ergodic divertor (DED) experiments (Jakubowski et al 2004 Nucl. Fusion 44 S1) the theoretical treatment of the DED operation, with the plasma response taken into account, is made in the toroidal geometry on the basis of two-fluid MHD
