Measurements at Mount Vernon Hospital
Description
Fifteen persons with suspected contamination from Chernobyl fallout presented at Mount Vernon Hospital for monitoring between 3-28 May 1986. Thirteen had travelled in Scandinavia or the Baltic, one had visited Kiev in the USSR, and one never left the UK. Skin, clothing and luggage monitoring were carried out and thyroid uptake measured.
