Laser fluorescence spectroscopy of heteroisotopic molecular iodine

Description
Study on selectivity of iodine-129 laser-fluorescence registration against iodine-127 high concentration background was carried out on the basis of study on fluorescence excitation spectrum of molecular iodine 127I, 129I and 127I2. Computerized simulation of 127I, 129I and 127I2 absorption spectra made it possible to select 127I and 129I absorption lines, providing for the maximum ration of 127I and 129I registered fluorescence relative to 127I2 background fluorescence. 16 refs., 3 figs., 2 tabs
