Cationic catalysis in complex pracesses of electroreduction in salt melts

Description
By means of voltammetry tungstate-ion electroreduction against the background of KCl-NaCl(1:1) molten chlorides, Li+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+ cations being used as catalyzers, is studied. Cationic catalysis is shown to reside in MXpm- complex particle transformation to the active state under the effet of outspheric cations concentration; as a result of which electrochemically active particle composition, their formation rate constants, charge transfer reaction constants are changed
