Exact and approximate formulae for heavy flavour production in hadronic collisions
Description
The completion of an independent NLO 0(αs3) calculation of heavy quark production in hadron collisions is presented. The characteristic features of the higher order corrections to the heavy quark inclusive cross sections are outlined. New results on approximate formulae to the one heavy quark differential cross section are discussed and compared with the corresponding exact results
