Description
The ability of hypoxic radiosensitizer AK-2123 to modulate the activity of immunocompetent cells in health mice and in Lewis lung carcinoma bearing mice treated with cyclophosphamide (CPA) was investigated. The simulating influence of AK-2123 on splenocytes natural killer activity and anti proliferative activity of lymphocytes and macrophages were revealed. Our data demonstrate that the increase in CPA therapeutic efficacy by AK-2123 is associated with augmented natural killer activity of splenocytes and with their higher anti proliferative effect
